Despite the alarming notion of falling victim to these elusive reptiles, Crocodiles only account for one Australian fatality per year due to the consistent guarding of populated areas.

Its translucent body is difficult to spot in water and its venomous tentacles have taken 79 Australian lives in the past hundred years. The Box Jellyfish boasts 15 tentacles that can reach up to 10 feet long and each is covered with millions of microscopic, venomous darts.
